Greater Manchester Good Employment

Our Director, Dr Shirley Woods-Gallagher was part of the launch of Greater Manchester Good Employability Week on Monday.

She has just had an article published by the Good Employability Charter on neuroinclusion, which you can read here:

Shirley was also a member of the DEI panel talking about disability and neuroinclusion at work.

On the day, Greater Manchester Mayor, Andy Burnham, said that there is going to be a neuroinclusion standard in the Charter.

This will transform the life chances of our graduates in the coming years.

On Thursday, there was an event organised as part of the week on “Unlocking Neurodivergent Leadership” held at BBC by the GM Neurodiversity and Learning Disability Employability Network.

Andy Cox from Samuel Laycock was in attendance.

As a result of the New Bridge presence at the event, we now have 17 new connections and potential leads for both Destiny and Lumenus Pathways at the College and Samuel Laycock.

A brilliant result from a day's networking!
