CEO Blog – Week 5

We have reached the end of week 5!

(Time flies when you’re having fun…)

This week has been another exciting week for me personally, as we’re now starting to get into the finer details of the job, having visited all of our wonderful sites.

Thinking about the future has been a recent theme, with a range of different meetings around where we’re going as an organisation…

This includes my first meeting with the regional directors office, to help me understand the wider context of our trust, and how we can continue making progress for our children and young people.

There are plenty of ongoing or upcoming meetings and plans with colleagues, regarding our buildings and sites, ensuring we are planning sustainably for the future.

New Bridge is growing all the time, and we need to accommodate the increasing demand for places. It will be a challenge, but we are up for the challenge!

Another meeting with international colleagues from Apple showcased the outstanding work going on in our schools.

Apple were genuinely impressed and moved by the difference technology can make to the outcomes for our children and young people.
