CEO Blog - 6.9.24

Welcome back!

I'd like to start my first blog of the year by saying welcome back to all our returning staff, children, young people and families, but it also gives me great pleasure to welcome all of our new starters into our organisation!

I hope everyone had a restful summer and enjoyed some time with family and friends.

I'd like to thank all our staff teams who worked at our Holiday Clubs. The photographs and updates I've seen were brilliant, and it looked like lots of fun was had by all!

We've had a busy summer behind the scenes and we have an exciting year ahead. We have a new HR adviser in the central team, Kayleigh Davies, and plenty of other new starters throughout our wider sites and teams.

There's the new Hawthorns site, new Headteachers, and it really does feel like a brand new academic year throughout the MAT, with lots of energy and enthusiasm.

We're really looking forward to working with new schools both within the MAT and beyond, as we develop our relationships locally, regionally and nationally to better the outcomes for all our children, young people and adults.

One particular piece of good news is that we have been awarded Apple Regional Training Centre Status. This very exciting and more information will follow on that in due course.

For now though, I hope everyone has a restful weekend and comes back ready to get the year going properly on Monday!

At this time of year, it's important to be patient. New routines take time to establish, but if we all support each other, we'll get there a lot sooner.

Welcome back to New Bridge, let's get going.
