Welcome Back to everyone in the New Bridge MAT & Group Community,

I hope you all had a restful and rejuvenating summer break and that you’re feeling recharged and ready for the new academic year ahead!

As we welcome back our students, families and staff, I want to say how excited I am about what lies ahead. This week marks the beginning of an exciting journey for so many of us, not least our new starters and those transitioning to new sites and settings. The enthusiasm is infectious and I hope it carries through all the way to Christmas!

I would like to take a moment to look ahead to the opening of Heywood Academy next week. It’s a remarkable milestone for our Trust, and I am incredibly proud of the dedicated team who have worked tirelessly to bring this vision to life.

Their commitment to creating an inspiring learning environment has been nothing short of amazing, and I can't wait for the students to experience the new opportunities that Heywood Academy will provide.

To our parents and families, I sincerely appreciate your patience as we navigate the logistics and systems that come with the start of a new academic year. We understand that there are adjustments to be made, and your support during this transition is invaluable. Rest assured, we are doing everything we can to ensure a smooth and successful start for all our students across all sites.

As we set out on another exciting academic year together, there are lots of things to look forward to this term. From engaging lessons to fun extracurricular activities, we have so many opportunities planned for our students that will lead to growth, engagement and collaboration.
