Happy Friday, everyone.
It's gone cold hasn't it!
I was excited to round off the week by visiting our new school, Heywood Academy, to see some of the fantastic developments taking place!
I had the pleasure of attending the steel signing event with representatives from New Bridge and Rochdale Council, including our very own talented official photographers, Max and Johnny.
I left a message in Welsh on the steel beam, as did all other attendees, though I'm not sure they wrote theirs in Welsh!
It was a great occasion that symbolises our commitment to providing a first-class educational environment for our children.
This week also marked the launch of the public consultation for the new school, and I am pleased with the positive response we’ve received so far.
It's incredibly encouraging to witness the structure of our new facilities taking shape, a tangible representation of our ambition for Rochdale.
With these developments, it’s amazing to know that children in Rochdale will soon benefit from New Bridge’s offerings as early as next academic year.
This is not just an achievement for us as a MAT but a significant milestone for the community.
A special thank you to Tilbury Douglas for their generosity and hospitality during the event today.
We are eagerly looking forward to receiving the photos and footage from the Destiny team, which will capture this pivotal moment perfectly.
Thank you all for your continued support and dedication as we move forward into what might be a very chilly winter.
Have a great weekend
Clare
