CEO Blog - 21.6.24

Dear All, I hope this message finds you well as we look back on another exciting week here at New Bridge Multi Academy Trust.

As always, I am filled with pride to see the dedication and enthusiasm of our children and staff as they engage in a range of exciting experiences.

This past week, it was great to see the children and staff from Samuel Laycock on their Duke of Edinburgh expeditions.

The enthusiasm and excitement on display was inspiring. I want to thank the staff who supported and guided them on this journey.

Your commitment to the personal and holistic development of our students does not go unnoticed.

Elsewhere, I had the pleasure of networking with Apple in London. The opportunity to collaborate with such an innovative and forward-thinking organisation is invaluable for our MAT and we look forward to strengthening what is an already very strong relationship.

Our discussions centred around how we use technology to enhance learning experiences for our students, and I am eager to see even more positive impacts down the line.

I was honoured to speak at the SSAT Women in Leadership Conference alongside Baroness Campbell from the Women's FA.

This platform provided a valuable opportunity to discuss leadership, empowerment and the importance of diversity in educational settings.

It was a privilege to exchange ideas and insights with others who share our commitment to promoting gender equality and inclusivity in leadership roles.

Closer to home, I spent a rewarding day at New Bridge School with LA colleagues, focusing on exploring the offerings in the Autism Base.

The dedication and expertise of our staff in catering to the unique needs of students with autism is fantastic.

I am pleased to report that our external colleagues were impressed (yet again) by the comprehensive support and resources available within the Autism Base.

Thank you to the staff involved for your dedication to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.

I am grateful for each and every one of you who contributes to the success of our trust.

Wishing you all a productive and fulfilling weekend ahead.

Clare
