This week, I am pleased to share an update from the Trustee’s Meeting of New Bridge Fund, the Chairity arm of our organisation. I was invited to meet with Trustees, as they opened the discussions about fundraising initiatives aimed to enhance our offer for young people.
I want to express my gratitude to each and every individual and business, who has already extended their support to our orgnaisation. Your generosity and dedication are vital in driving our mission forward, and we truly appreciate the support that you continue to offer.
At the same time, I am mindful of just how important it is that we tread carefully on this journey.
Fundraising is not just about raising capital; it is about aligning our efforts with a clear and cohesive vision that resonates with everyone involved. It is about ensuring that our stakeholders, including our staff, students, families and the broader community, are all fully aware of our ambitions and the collective impact we are aiming for.
The integrity of our fundraising efforts is in our ability to translate our aspirations into tangible objectives, and to ensure that transparency and accountability underpin every aspect of our fundraising strategy.
That’s exactly what the Trustees meeting set out to establish, and in the coming weeks, we will be working to clarify and articulate the specific goals and outcomes that our fundraising efforts aim to realise.
On a separate note, I want to thank a member of our Exective Team, Shirley Woods-Gallagher, for her representation of New Bridge in the local business group BNI Oldham Renaissance.
Shirley took centre stage this week, delivering her first feature presentation to the room, detailing the ways in which local businesses can contribute to and champion the cause of New Bridge.
We look forward to strengthening our relationships with local businesses, as we aim to enhance employment and work experience opportunities for our young people, as well as continuing to explore untapped fundraising potential.
Have a great weekend
Clare
