This week has been full of insightful and inspiring experiences that I am excited to share with you.

On Thursday evening, we had the honour of hosting the Governor's Conference at Samuel Laycock.

It was a great opportunity for us to reflect on the significant role that governors play within our organisation, a role that we deeply value.

Elsewhere, I was thrilled to be a part of the National Network-AP/SEND CEO network, where I had the chance to connect with national colleagues and share strategies.

One highlight was listening to Leora Cruddas, the CEO of the Confederation of School Trusts. Her perspectives on key national issues such as workforce reform, funding pressures in SEND and the current 'Big Listen' consultation with Ofsted were truly thought provoking.

It is crucial for us to ensure that our voice is heard at the national level, making our community an integral part of the national debate.

I also want to extend my heartfelt thanks and congratulations to Luke Sugden for his incredible efforts in completing his ultramarathon.

Luke's dedication and hard work not only inspired us all but also raised almost £4,000 for the New Bridge Fund.

This is a testament to the amazing generosity and support within the wider local community.
