CEO Blog - 11.10.24
Hello everyone.
As we wrap up another week at New Bridge MAT, I want to take a moment to reflect on some significant happenings within our Trust that highlight our commitment to excellence in education.
This week, we welcomed a visit from our friends at Ofsted, who took the time to observe the work being done at Samuel Laycock School.
While we await their findings, I want to extend my thanks to the staff for their dedication.
As always, our children have truly shone through, showcasing their incredible potential and spirit.
In addition to this, we are actively supporting the governors at Thomas Ashton School in their search for a new headteacher.
It has been an exciting experience meeting potential candidates who are genuinely enthusiastic about joining us in our mission.
Their passion and commitment to education have been inspiring, and I look forward to what lies ahead in this recruitment process.
This week marked the first round of operations invitational meetings as part of our new accountability process.
It is encouraging to hear positive feedback regarding how we are challenging and supporting our schools in non-curricular areas.
These meetings are crucial as they provide an opportunity for open dialogue about the diverse range of operational projects currently underway across our Trust.
I am consistently amazed by the innovative approaches our teams take to drive progress and enhance our students' learning experiences.
Your commitment to focusing on innovation keeps us moving forward together, and I am genuinely grateful to work alongside such talented individuals.
Finally this week, I want to acknowledge Mental Health Awareness Day, which took place yesterday.
Mental health is a vital issue in today’s world, and it is essential that we continue to break the stigma surrounding conversations about it.
Let’s remember to prioritise our mental well-being as we navigate the challenges of life and work.
I encourage everyone to take some time this weekend to look after yourselves, whether that’s through self-care, spending time with loved ones, or simply taking a moment to breathe and reflect.
Thank you to our staff teams for all for your hard work and dedication.
Wishing you a restful weekend.
Clare
