CEO Blog - 10.5.24

I hope this message finds you well and motivated for the remainder of the term ahead.
Firstly, I want to say thank you to everyone involved in the successful reverse employability event last week at New Bridge School. It's great to hear about the connections we're making and positive impact we can have in the community.
A round of applause is also in order for the outstanding Ofsted report at Hollinwood. This achievement is a testament to the commitment and excellence that define our MAT. It is moments like these that rubber stamp our MAT's dedication to providing the best possible support to our students and their families.
I am pleased to inform you that discussions regarding the growth of our trust continue to progress with local authorities and the Department for Education. Our primary focus has always been to stand by our commitment to support as many young individuals and families as possible. It's heartening to see our efforts being recognised and further opportunities unfolding on the horizon.
During our recent trustees' finance board meeting, we discussed the pressing challenges posed by the current economic climate, particularly the escalating cost of living and the complexities of special school funding.
I am immensely proud of our colleagues who have been demonstrating remarkable ingenuity and creativity in finding solutions that not only address these challenges but also uphold our mission to inspire and empower our students.
Thank you for your ongoing trust and support. Let's make next week another memorable one.
Take care
Clare
