And just like that, we're all back at it...

This week has been a really positive week for the future of our MAT, with a few very important (and very tough) decisions being made regarding the leadership of some of our schools.

As I have already mentioned in other messages, the process for appoiting new Heads is always tough, especially when the quality of applicants is as good as we've seen this week.

It's encouraging that the MAT is viewed as a brilliant place to work, and that we are attracting the very best educators and leaders from across the region and beyond.

Long may it continue.

The more great additions to our already great teams we can make, the stronger we will all be, collectively.

I know this week will be a pivotal week in the short, medium and long term future of our MAT, and I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who has played a part over the past few days.

There is a lot to look forward to, with brighter nights on the way.

Who knows, it may even stop raining!
